‘dialogue room pressing’ is a participatory work, where Carolyn Eskdale has invited women to take part in six private conversations whilst engaging in the act of pressing.

‘dialogue column pressing 06.23’ is a collaboration between Carolyn eskdale and eight art students. Eskdale uses the concept and practice of material pressing to intervene in the Gallery reception area. The work takes the form of plasticine that has been pressed onto an existing column behind the gllery’s reception desk.
